Turnaround times are usually 1 week for most items. Prom, bridesmaid, mother of the bride/groom, and other special occasion dresses take between 1-3 weeks, depending on when they are brought in (March - July is our extremely busy season) though sometimes it might be longer if the required alterations are tedious. Wedding gown and wedding dress alterations take anywhere from 4 weeks to 16 weeks, depending on exactly what needs to be done and when they are brought in.

This varies a lot due to just how much variation can be present from dress to dress. We charge based on how long a job takes. Most prom dresses we get take anywhere from 1.5 hours to 4 hours of labor from start to finish. As of the latest prom season, most alterations cost between $50 - $100. We have also seen an increase in ball down type dresses coming in as well, which have many qide layers that need shortening. These dresses do cost more than the average to alter.

Yes, we do. Tuxedo rentals (and our entire menswear retail area) are at our Newark, NY location. Rentals packages are $200 and include any in-stock tuxedo jacket, tuxedo pants, white or black shirt, solid tie + pocket square, vest, and shoes. We only rent from our current rental collection and do not take special orders for rentals. Furthermore, alterations we do on rental items are limited and cost extra. Buying makes more sense in most cases and we are happy to give suggestions as well.

Buying a tuxedo or suit from us is usually a great option for many students and young adults as there is not much of a difference between buying and renting. Almost always, it is cheaper to buy 1 time than to rent 2 times from our shop. Pricing varies by the suit/tux, but is generally $100 more to buy than rent.
