How far in advance should I schedule bridal alterations?
We recommend scheduling bridal alterations 10-16 weeks before your wedding date. This allows time for multiple fittings and ensures your gown fits perfectly without rushing.
How many fittings are usually needed for a wedding dress?
Most wedding dresses require 1 fitting and occasion 2 fittings, depending on the complexity of the gown and the alterations needed. More detailed gowns may require additional fittings.
​What bridal alterations do you offer?
We offer complete bridal alteration services, including hemming, resizing, bustle creation, strap and sleeve adjustments, and custom tailoring for wedding gowns.
Should I bring my wedding shoes to my fitting?
Yes. Bringing your wedding shoes is important for accurate hemming and length adjustments. If possible, also bring undergarments you plan to wear on your wedding day.
How much do bridal alterations cost?
Pricing varies based on the gown and the alterations needed. We typically quote $60/hr. Most of our brides pay between $300 - $500 for alterations, though it is not uncommon for alterations to be less than $100 or more than $500, depending on what is needed. After your initial fitting, we provide a clear estimate so there are no surprises.
Do you offer rush bridal alterations?
Rush services may be available depending on timing and gown complexity. Please contact us as soon as possible if your wedding date is approaching.
